ASSESSMENT FOR DYSLEXIA

Well this was the best assessment I could have ever done for my son! Years of writing distress for him, but suddenly I had a gut feeling it was more than just your normal every day upset. I booked an assessment with Armande, she was very kind from the start and David was so friendly too. During his assessment he had a great time without any real idea he was being assessed at all, he was elated to spend time with their 3 small dogs 🐶. For anyone worried it will be stressful for their child, please don’t worry and feel free to message me.
After the session I had a phone call catch up to give me the main details, Dysgraphia was my sons issue, she explained it, reassured me and a full diagnostic report will follow.
I’m so happy I chose Armande, my son is too and he was even reluctant to leave at the end! Thank you for turning, a potentially boring assessment, into something memorable for him 🙏 😊 (KS March 2021)

I’m so pleased that my son had an assessment with Armande. He has been struggling with writing and spelling for a while so his teacher recommended that he had an assessment for dyslexia. He was a little apprehensive on the day but Armande was brilliant with him and he actually really enjoyed it. He said it was lots of fun and couldn’t stop talking about Armande’s pets!
Armande called me afterwards to talk through the outcome and we have since received a really comprehensive report which outlines how we and the school can support him further. I’m so pleased that we got him assessed and I would highly recommend Armande.  (AH  February  2021)

Just want to say thank you for taking your time to assess our son today. We had been noticing our son who is 8 had been struggling with his writing , spelling ,and comprehension for a while. Initially we put it down to him just being a boy , and not enjoying reading and writing. But his frustrations were getting more and more evident, he was struggling to retain spelling and we were finding it difficult to get him to do any writing at all. He was starting to lose confidence in his self and kept saying ‘I’m stupid’ and ‘i can’t spell’. After talking to Armande we decided to book him in for an assessment. We were still concerned it was an age thing, but something just didn’t feel right, so needed that reassurance.
After seeing Armande today she was very professional and reassuring , she did a thorough assessment and we received verbal feedback shortly after via telephone. After talking to her , everything now makes sense and her explanations were clear. I’m so glad we followed our gut instinct and now hopefully we can put some positive steps in place to build his confidence up and deal with the dyslexia in ways he can learn.
I would happily recommend Armande to anyone concerned by dyslexia in the future. (HR)
